MISSION TO THE MOON 1969

This numbered limited edition features a matte black bioceramic case, paired with a matching black rubber strap with a VELCRO® closure. Its design is enhanced by a golden lining with a texture inspired by the moon's surface, as well as a bioceramic loop. Its dial, hands, crown, and pushers are crafted from 18-carat OMEGA Moonshine™ Gold, for a total weight of 11 grams. The dial features recessed subdials with black hands and Arabic numerals, as well as beveled gold indexes coated with black varnish. This watch boasts a black bioceramic bezel with a golden tachymeter scale, protected by an anti-scratch coating. On the back, the battery cover is decorated with a golden moon motif with an anti-scratch coating. It highlights the historic date of the Apollo 11 moon landing and an imprint evoking humanity's first step on the Sea of Tranquility. The individual number of this limited edition is engraved on the side of the case at 9 o'clock, subtly enhanced with a touch of golden varnish. Like all watches in the Bioceramic MoonSwatch collection, this model bears the "OMEGA X Swatch" signature, as well as the iconic Speedmaster and MoonSwatch logos. It also reuses the OMEGA logo and typography from 1969. Its distinctive details include a domed bio-sourced glass with an engraved "S" in its center as a tribute to Swatch, an elegant circular pattern adorning the dial's perimeter and the recessed subdials, as well as lugs with both fluid and angular lines. The whole is sublimated by the unique and innovative feel of bioceramic, a signature of the collection.
